Engineering

As supplier of systems with many years experience in radiation protection and handling technology in exposed environments, we are able to assume complex development projects according to specifications. The demands and expectations of our customers are examined to develop an optimal solution, in accordance with the relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

The developmental outcome is presented in the form of pre-qualification documents for customer approval.

We also develop in-house the software for our robot controllers.

If competences in specific areas are needed, we work with experienced professional companies, for example for radiation resistant camera technology.

Vertical range of manufacture

Our production is optimally designed for the complexity and breadth of our products. We manufacture parts and small series.

Production area

On a production area of 4000 sqm, our staff of 50 experienced employees machine, weld, assemble and test our parts, assemblies and systems.

Our production is divided into the following divisions:

On a 500 sqm shop floor, assemblies such as crane bridges, carriages, rails, consoles and girders, but also complete radiation protection cabins, are manufactured.


The staff in the Steel Constructions Division features certified welders, welding supervisors and certified controllers for non-destructive testing according to ISO 9712.

The main activities of Stainless Steel Constructions Division consist in the manufacture of boxes and fume hoods for radio-chemical applications and nuclear medicine.


Bending, welding, grinding, polishing up to glass bead blasting are carried out in-house.


Our Großer Eignungsnachweis (proof of suitability) includes an extension to stainless steels, on the basis of the DIBT licence according to the general building laws, Ref. Nr. Z-30.33.

The machines of our Material Removing Production Division are designed to produce nearly every necessary construction part either as an order-related individual item or as serial parts for stock. The programming is carried out by skilled workers directly at the machine.

We process materials such as: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals, as well as various plastic materials.

Our electrical engineering technicians and electricians construct and wire the control cabinets and operating panels of our systems. The Siemens SPC control systems, which we mainly use, are programmed in the Electrics Production
Division.

Wiring and cabling of the power and control lines of completed systems are manufactured and tested in this department as well.

 

In our department of plastic protective covers mainly the result of the manipulator arms. The highly elastic "Booting" are produced in the injection procedure.

On a 750 sqm shop floor, assemblies, subsystems and completed systems are built, tested and approved by the customer.


In our highly flexible assembly hall featuring 15 m height and an additional water basin of 5 m depth, we can easily reproduce the spatial conditions of the customer's site. Thus we guarantee smooth and safe installation on site.

Due to our activities for the nuclear industry we are used to providing a complete documentation "as built": from semifinished product inspection certificates over material traceability to full system documentation. Our processes and our quality management system have been conceived accordingly.


Our production has been optimally designed for the scope and complexity of our products. We produce single parts as well as small series.
